Carlos Borges is a 18 years old left Portugese winger, playing for Manchester City. Starting his career at Sporting Lisbon, he arrives 2015 at Etihad Stadium.
Until 2020 he was playing for the academy squads, when he made progress through U18 squad. This season he made his debut for Man City U21, competing in Premier League 2.
Earlier this season he put focus on himself, scoring a hattrick for the young “blues” 5:1 win against Sevilla in the UEFA Youth Champions league.
Being a winger, Borges shows a good pace, technique, which makes him hard to be beaten on one-on-ones. As a winger he tends sometimes to cut inside both on and off the ball, so that he can shoot, assist or wait for a pass from the other flank.
